A Wednesday with a few words - Memories & Milestones

LeAnne with her Auntie Katie this past weekend!  Thank-you Auntie for all the amazing things you do for our little princess and her family!  You are a blessing to us!  Can't wait to see you this weekend!

LeAnne's new Butterfly Kid's Foot Stool from Tatutina!  I won this cool stool through a blog contest at Mommy Living the Life of Riley.  This stool couldn't have come at a better time.  LeAnne is now able to wash her own hands after she goes potty and brush her teeth!  :-)

 

Speaking of going potty...LeAnne is doing awesome!  It's like the light went on overnight. Here she is using her potty chair in the back of our Ford Freestyle before an event this past Sunday. :-)

I won this picture through a giveaway at Girl Gone Mom's blog. LeAnne name was written on Huntington Beach in California by artist Courtney Noelle from Nature's Notebook.  I think it is beautiful and is a great reminder of the fun LeAnne had on her first trip to the beach this summer.

LeAnne & I have had so much fun doing craft projects this summer!  Today we made insects using household products and some things we collected on our walk this morning.

My future coupon cutting helper.  Today as I was cutting coupons she would say "I'm cutting coupons", " I'm going to town". It was adorable!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Unsual Visitor

A few nights we had quite the unusual visitor to our Star Gazer Lilly.  At first I thought it was a hummingbird but upon closer inspection I saw it was an insect but I had no idea what it was.  Does anyone know what this little guy is?

Yahoo! A friend just told me it's a Hummingbird Moth VERY COOL!!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Painting with pudding

Vanilla pudding + food coloring = inexpensive finger painting fun.  This was our first experience painting with pudding.  It was very easy to make, it was safe to eat and easy to clean up. My daughter was very reserved, not sure about eating it and was she ever one serious pudding painter.  I'll admit I got in on the painting too, enjoyed licking my fingers off to change colors and I really wanted to go crazy painting on LeAnne but didn't think I should freak her out & I wasn't dressed for her to paint on me. Next time time... I highly recommend and we will do this craft again!
