Daddy's home!

It is so COOL to have John home! My heart skipped a beat as I saw him getting off the airplane! I love my husband so much! I am very thankful to have such an amazing friend! It took LeAnne a little bit to warm up to daddy but she was sitting with him by the end of the night. He can't believe how much she changed in just 2 1/2 weeks. I felt like a new woman today because I got 7 hours of peaceful sleep!! LeAnne is one lucky girl who gets to spend the day with daddy tomorrow. Then we get to spend the weekend together as a family. YEAH!

Prayers & Pictures*Update

**Update:
First of all I realized later in the day I had told you the wrong times, oops. John's flight left at 6am Arkansas time, which is 4am our time in Washington State. ** John sent me a text at 3:50am saying he made it to the airport and would call me from Houston, Texas. Yahoooooooo! I am one HAPPY girl! My man is coming home! He has a layover in Houston, then flies to Seattle, has a layover their and then flies into Walla Walla. I will pick him up right after I get off work. I hope this day goes by VERY VERY fast. I mean like super sonic fast! Can ya tell I miss my hubby! Thanks for your prayers!!

This was taken last Friday when we had a 2hr school delay. I was so excited to put her into a new outfit! 18 month tops are fitting her better but she has no tush to hold up most of the pants yet. :-) She has 3 pair of 18 month jeans I can't wait to see on her. I love her in jeans!

She can climb into this rocking chair all by herself.

Just a few pictures of our little cutie! I'd greatly appreciate your prayers for John's safe trip home tomorrow. Arkansas is being hit by a lot of freezing rain, with snow in the forecast tomorrow morning. YIKES! His flight is scheduled to leave at 6am there time, that's 8am our time. It's REALLY time for him to come home so I am praying he gets here safely tomorrow!! On that note I am off to warm up my car. It's 16 degrees here, and they say it will make it up a balmy 35 today. I hope it does! Brrrrrrrrrr!

This time Wednesday..

Our family will all be under one roof again! We miss our guy so much!! LeAnne has so many new things to show daddy. When she wants a bottle she will come touch my arm like she's leading me to the kitchen and then point to the microwave. She loves to sit in the big rocking chair like mama does and rock herself. She sits calmly, rocks and smiles at me. She gets a kick out of tickling mama. She'll lift up my shirt and tickle my tummy. She has really started to interact with Gracie & Bella. She shares her meals, plays with their toys with them, pets them, and gives them lots of kisses. She is also full of kissed for mama and grandma! She poured water on her head with her cup for the first time tonight. She's one smart little girl full of energy. I love her precious smile!

She was such a good girl today while mama wasn't feeling well. I think I must have a bit of a stomach bug. She's been a real trooper. She even took a 2 hour nap and I napped off and on after a small attempt to shovel snow. It's been snowing off and on all weekend. Thankfully we only have about 5 inches on the ground. I am hoping school is delayed tomorrow morning so I can at least get the walk way shoveled. Oh the joys of Winter. LOL!

I have a few cute pictures to post but I left my camera at mom's house. LeAnne & I spent the day with Grandma Marcia on Saturday. :-)

It's the small things...

I am so EXCITED I get to feed my girl breakfast, and get her dressed for the day!! They just called from the school I work at and school will be 2 hours late due to treacherous road conditions. They think we had some freezing rain last night.

I am so looking forward to this summer when I get to spend the days with LeAnne!

15 Month Check Up

LeAnne is 31.4 inches tall and weighs 21.1 pounds. She definitely has her daddy's metabolism! Yahoooo!! Her pediatrician is very happy with her development and thinks she's a cutie!

We talked at length about her stomach issues. He says it's possible that her initial episode of diarrhea & vomiting was a virus. It is possible that during this time the stomach lining that helps to digest milk was damaged and needs time to repair. He used a bunch of medical terms that escape me at the moment. He also said it is possible she is indeed lactose intolerant. He said he would keep her on the lactose free milk for a month, and slowly begin to feed her table food again. He said after a month I could try giving her regular milk to see if her stomach gets upset if I wanted. He said it doesn't not hurt her one bit though to be on the lactose free milk because she is still getting all the nutrients from the milk she needs. He also prescribed a multi vitamin with fluoride. I love her pediatrician! He is very attentive, personable and takes the time to explain things to us. Today was the first time I had to hold her for her shots, it was not fun at all, I just about started to cry but thankfully it was over quickly.

We are so blessed to have such a healthy little girl!!!

She loves sitting on the couch all by herself.

Close up of our 15 month old

We made it through our first week of daddy being gone. It was a little wacky at times but we survived. One and a 1/2 more weeks until he comes home. Keeping on reading for a peak inside our life as told by mama bear.

You can follow me on Twitter.
I update my twitter at least once or twice a day. The updates are fed to my blog or you can subscribe to Twitter and follow me.

Happenings of LeAnne
It's hard to believe our little girl is 15 months old now. She started winking at us with both eyes. It's very cute. She is constantly babbling up a storm. They're are words in there just aching to get out. She's all about stacking and arranging anything she can get her hands on. She is very determined to figure our how things work and boy does she get upset when she can't make them work. I found her laying on the bottom shelf of the book case today. Here are some cute videos I took on Saturday and I'll add some pictures at the end of this blog.

This is her dancing with the monkey's Ooh and Ah. She loves these monkey's.

The next video is her grooving to the Little Einsteins theme song. The motions that she makes are really close to the motions used in the cartoon when blasting off. Minus the shirt being lifted up. hee hee!

Mama's on the case...
I am determined to figure out what is making our little girl sick. She's has episodes of vomiting and diarrhea for the last 4-6 weeks. It comes and goes. She has a few bad days, then a good day, a bad day, a good week, a bad day and so forth. I don't think it's a virus and am thinking it's a food allergy or she's lactose intolerant. She has her 15 month check up on Thursday so I'll see what our pediatrician has to say. For now she's drinking Lactaid, eating baby food, Cherrios and vitamin water mixed with Pedialyte.

You know you work at a school when...
You tell your 15 month old daughter to sit on her pockets because that is what you tell the kids at school when they don't go down the slide right. Geesh mama she doesn't even know where her pockets are. LOL!!

My mama saved the day...
When I was on my last nerve, LeAnne was screaming at me, and the last straw was when Gracie rolled in cat pooh. ICKY! So grandma came over to watch LeAnne and cook dinner while I cleaned up Gracie.

I often find myself...
staring at my daughter with tears in my eyes because I love her so much, she's adorable, her little personality is becoming evident, and I am so thankful God answered our prayers. I love her so very very much!

Thank-you!
I need to make some phone calls this week to thank a few special people for my birthday card and gift! I so look forward to spending the $$ at the Christian book store or scrap book store. Mom and I are going to leave LeAnne with daddy one afternoon and do a little shopping. :-)

That's all for now, I must get to bed so I can be up early to get my lesson plan done for next week.

Update coming SOON

Good Morning family & Friends!!

I have not had a whole lot of time to blog lately and then when I do I am too exhausted to make any sense at all. After reading the blog I would have ya'll saying HUH? Hee hee! I do hope to have some time this weekend to blog and post some new pictures. We MUST get grandma Marcia a digital camera so we can get a glimpse into what LeAnne does during the day. It drives this mama nuts not being apart of her days. On that note I must get her up, off to grandma's and get myself off to work. Have a blessed day!!

Birthday full of blessings!

It's puzzle time!

She loves trying to figure out how to do this puzzle.

Our Adorable 15 month old daughter!

Daddy says she looks like one of Elvis's elves in this outfit. Hee hee

I am one blessed person for sure! Birthday celebrations started the Thursday before my birthday when I came home to a clean house, didn't have to cook dinner and I opened my b-day gift from John early. LeAnne was still sleeping when I walked in the door, get this she took a 2 1/2 hour nap and daddy was in a cleaning mood. He had swept, mopped, dusted, done the dishes, vacuumed, and taken out the trash! As for my b-day present he took advantage of Bath & Body works huge after Christmas sale and got me 2 bottles of my fave lotion (Moonlight path) and some pillow sprays. I am so thankful!

On my birthday, Saturday January 10th, John & I were able to watch 2/3 of a movie all at once. This was the first time since LeAnne was born that we both watched a movie neither had seen, well we almost finished the movie. LeAnne took a 2 hr nap. I enjoyed relaxing with John, Gracie and Bella. Then that afternoon my mama cooked me my favorite dinner, beef stroganoff. It was very nice to spend the evening with my sisters family and mom.

As I watched our daughter play on my birthday I recalled a few past birthday memories. On my 27th birthday John gave me the book "What to expect when you're expecting" and said let's start trying to have a baby. I had no idea the journey that was ahead. My 30th birthday was rough..I had hopes of being a mom by 30. My 31st birthday... we took a long walk in the snow & made the decision to move forward with infertility treatments. Praise God I got pregnant the first month of treatment and by my 32nd birthday I was one sleep deprived new mama. I am a mama! It all happened in God's perfect timing!

John arrived safely in Arkansas tonight. 17 days and counting until he comes home. He can't get home soon enough. We miss him already. LeAnne walked around the house this afternoon saying "da da". Learn lots sweetie and then hurry home to your girls.

Our adorable girl

LeAnne had a wonderful day with daddy! I love that he loves spending time with his little girl!! John tried to send me the picture below today at work. LeAnne had been playing at his feet when he noticed she was really quiet and then noticed she was asleep. :-) LeAnne also decorated the box daddy mailed to Amanda today. Check out the short video clip of LeAnne showing me where her nose is and telling me she is all done with dinner. It's time for this mama to go to bed! Good-night!

Babbling, stacking, kissing, teeth brushing, clapping & climbing!

If you were a fly on the wall in our house today you might hear "bap, ba, gee, bab, whoa, wa, da, geee, bap bap, ba ba, la la, gra, gra, ga, geee". LeAnne has been babbling all day long. If we only knew what gee meant, that seems to be her favorite these days. Daddy even started calling her "Gee" today.

Who needs blocks to stack when you have Toilet paper rolls, Tupperware, cups, puzzle pieces and stuffed animals! LeAnne stacks almost everything she plays with these days. While we were cleaning our store room today I had found some toilet paper I was going to take upstairs. LeAnne found them before I could and the next thing I know she had them stacked up 4 high.

Daddy loves it when lil girl gives him kisses! It's so cute! She gets so excited that she screams after she gives ya a kiss. We love our wet, sloppy LeAnne kisses!!

Whenever I brush my teeth I try to remember to brush her teeth. Just this weekend when she saw me coming with her tooth brush she opened her mouth and came to me. YEAH! I praise her big time for brushing her teeth!!

It's so cute how she claps when she sees other people clapping. She really gets into it when she sees people on TV clapping and cheering!

Look out she's a climber! This weekend she climbed onto our couch and into my chair. She also climbed onto her horse, "Lucky" all by herself. Then at one point this weekend she walked right off the couch. EEKS! Can I put a helmet on her?

I don't wanna go back to work! :-( I've had such a blast being home with our girl! She is one busy girl all the time!! She seems to be learning something new every time we turn around. Daddy & I think she's one precious little girl! Daddy's back on days this week, and then he heads to Little Rock on Sunday until the end of January. He's going to take a Firearms Instructor course for work. We will miss him a TON! Well I must go rock lil girl to sleep! HUGZ!

Firsts for our girls & Pics

She had her 7th hair cut this week!

Her first Burger King Crown

Amanda

Amanda left around noon on 12/31. She is getting really good with this whole flying business. This was the first time she had a layover and had to switch planes. She did very well and we are so proud of her. Their is definitely an emptiness without Amanda here! Oh how we miss her already!! Summer can't come soon enough! Amanda made it home safely and is happy to have received the new Guitar Hero game.

LeAnne is really getting the hang of giving us big sloppy kisses when we ask. It's too cute because after she gives us a kiss she squeals. She is also almost able to climb up into my chair and on the couch. She climbed up onto her pony all by herself today. EEEKS! While Amanda was here LeAnne got her first Buger King crown. She looked too cute. Seeing LeAnne in the crown reminded John of the time Amanda was wearing a BK crown, playing with the locks of daddy's car and click... she locked them out of the car. Of course daddy didn't have a spare key or a cell phone. He was none too happy but who stay mad at his cute lil girl with her Burger King crown.
