The Chuck E Cheese visit that almost didn't happen - (Almost) Wordless Wednesday

After a busy trip to to cities LeAnne fell asleep before we could go to Chuck E. Cheese. Then she woke up, was very upset we hadn't stopped to see the mouse and pulling at Daddy's heart strings he turned around. She had a blast !! :-)

She won 50 tickets with her last token!

Our little Cowgirl

We had a blast watching the mules during Mule Mania in Dayton.   The first night we got LeAnne a cowgirl hat and the second night we got her some cool used cowgirl boots. The gal said I have some boots that need a lot of work but they are yours for $3. LeAnne loves them.  We may or may not paint them and love that they're broken in and comfortable for her.  She put on quite the show dancing for the crowd. It was precious!!

Summer Fun

Here are some fun things we've done this summer!  It's been a very laid back summer and I am okay with that. I thought I would make it a busy summer but that just hasn't happen and its okay. LeAnne has been staying up late and sleeping in until at least 7am which is so nice. I so enjoy being a summer SAHM.  IF I was ever to be a full time SAHM I would have to make myself get into a routine on a daily basis so we were sure to get out of the house, and socialize with others.  Sometimes I get a little stir crazy and need adult conversation.  LeAnne is a joy to be with and there is never a dull moment!  She has been busy, asking me WHY many times a day and growing up so much. She's ready to go back to school NOW! Misses school and her friends!  I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten.

New Family Members

Late one night on June I received a text from my husband saying we may have a new family member. I am like WHAT? He proceeds to tell me a veteran coming from Idaho who had an appointment at the sleep lab coming stopped in a rest area and saw a box in the bathroom. He didn't think much of it until the box started to move and that is when he discovered two puppies. (not more than 6 weeks old) So he brought them to the VA police because he couldn't take them to his appointment and really didn't have a home for them. John and his partner said they would find homes for them. Well it didn't take long until John fell in love with the female. I finally agreed he could bring HER home. The next morning he walks in the door with a crate and lots of puppies supplies. In the crate were TWO puppies. He didn't have the heart to separate the two puppies!

So we welcome Kane (little battler) and Ginger to our family.  Ginger is by far my favorite just because she so personable and loveable.  Kane is a sweetie too. I am still hoping John can find a good home for him.  I am thinking 4 dogs is just too many for our family.  We'll see...

Gracie LOVES them but Bella isn't happy at all ! She growls and snaps at them constantly. They just keep going back for more.
Who could say no to this picture?

River Front Park in Spokane

On June 21, 2012 John, my Auntie Katie, LeAnne and I headed to Spokane to spend the day at River Front Park. The trip started off a bit interesting when while going driving around many curves at a high rate of speed made LeAnne get car sick. Thank goodness I had a bag for icky clothes, a wash cloth to clean her face and new clothes for her to put on. Ever since she got car sick when she was 2 or 3 I always try to be prepared.  It was a very warm day but we were able to find shade and places to cool off.  It was a blast.

Cheese! :-)
