We are all having so much fun with LeAnne! She is starting to say more sentences and interact with us and peers more. Daddy took her to toddler story time Tuesday morning where she is learning to sit still to listen to a short story and participate during song/dance time. This was their 2nd week going and he said she behaved well. She even started to do some motions to a song. That afternoon her neighborhood friend came over to play. They did well together. At one point LeAnne crossed her arms, then marched around the yard saying "no no, no", we soon figured out she wanted one of the golf balls her friend had.
Earlier this week one of her cousins painted her finger nails blue and her toe nails purple. This was the first time she had ever had her nails painted. Her cousin said she did very well! All evening I heard "I see blue" or "I see purple".
She was very happy to see the moon tonight. "I see moon"!
Our little ham. ;-)
Here is a video of her and daddy playing this evening. Yaw, Giddy up!!

Helping her new pal Darby solve a mystery
Let me introduce you to LeAnne's new pal, Darby from Disney's My Friends Tigger & Pooh. She is a six-year-old girl who loves to solve mysteries with her dear friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. She is a modern day kid, and she even has her own pink scooter. Darby leads the Super Sleuths as they work to solve the mysteries that perplex the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. On a side note; I just found out they replaced Christopher Robin with Darby because in the classic Winnie the Pooh he would always solve the problems and the new show is gears toward preschoolers who they want to work on their problem solving skills. LeAnne loves My Friends Tigger & Pooh! She is having a blast combing Darby's hair, putting on her cap, listening to her sing and helping her use her magnifying glass. It's pretty adorable! Daddy isn't sure he loves her new Darby pal. She does say over 20 sayings with no volume control. Although he did find the off button last night. hee hee! I think Darby is pretty cool but wish they would not have attached her head band to her head, would have made her a little less stiff because she falls over easily and made her cap soft so it would mold to her head. Here are a few pictures and videos of LeAnne playing with Darby.

Less Words Wednesday - We love free stuff & their boxes!
I was so excited to drive up to our house and see The Safety 1st Complete Air Convertible Car Seat with Air Protect Side Impact Technology that I won sitting on our front porch. Thank-you Safety First & Rave & Review blog for this awesome win. The first LeAnne said was "ah pretty". I look forward to having it installed in my car, giving me a little extra assurance our girl is safer while riding in the car. :-)
LeAnne has more fun playing in the big box. :-)
Here is a random video of LeAnne playing the box. :-)

Her ever expanding vocabulary
LeAnne seems to be adding to her vocabulary daily. I don't want to forget so here I am to share and get it written down to use in her scrap book at a later date.
* She now says oopees which means oops.
* These days when we ask her questions she says "okay".
* She said Hi Katie on the phone with Auntie Katie yesterday.
* She tells us all to be cawful (careful)
* She is also saying "come on". For example she says "come on daddy" when we wake him up in the morning. She says it in a really quiet sweet soft voice sure to melt anyone's heart.
* She says sowwy which translated means sorry.
* She says toot, excuse me or toot excuse me my daddy.
* While playing with store daddy this week she counted the boxes of food; 2, 3,4, 6, 8, 9, 10. She only missed 1 & 5 which I think is impressive for a 2 year old but I am a biased judge. :-)
* She is saying her colors and shapes better too.
* Whenever she gets a boo boo she wants one of us to kiss it then says "all bedda".
* She gives kisses and says hi to Cowy which is Oma's dog Callie.
* Pew You Icky Puddle means she has a nasty pull up or something is gross.
Here's our girl one morning last week. She kept asking me to put on her socks. These are slippers Oma (Grandma Marcia) made for her.
Must sign off for now.... I've gotta an adorable 2 year old snotty nose to wipe. :-)

Almost Wordless Wednesday - On my mind tonight
Do I take the leap of faith and sell Mary Kay? I am praying/researching this one. My ultimate goal is to be able to be at home with our daughter.
LeAnne loves to play in the utensil drawer. Here she is talking on her electric fry pan controller phone. "Hello Daddy, Mama, Katie, Sista, Oma"
Thank-you Auntie! I'll take all the ideas I can get! :-) I love Dr. James Dobson.
